Buddhism Open Directory

Today is the 10th day since I started another project to collect and organize all buddhism-related websites into a single directory. I proudly named it Buddhism Open Directory. Thanks to PhpLink Directory for the wonderful script.
The past few days I have made myself busy with tweaking and more tweaking to the script (in the process I learned some PhP basics), submitting the site to Google and other major search engines and not forgetting exchanging links with other related websites & directories.
Guess what? With just less than 2 weeks, the site rank #3 on Google with keyword “buddhism open directory” and #8 with “buddhist directory“. Not bad for a start but I’m still hoping that more people will discover it and participate to expand the list.
At the end of the day, the main intention is to organize and propagate dharma sites for the greater benefit of dharmakind.

Working on it? nope. the site has been there for quite a while and visiting it today, it shows just fine, links and all.
